FREE Tent Camping on Friday AND Saturday night! Campers may arrive after 4:00 pm on Friday, August 24th and leave by Sunday, August 26th at 6:00 pm.
There are also limited spots for camper vans, so please email email@example.com to book in advance. We recommend that campers (tents or camper vans) buy their tickets in advance for easy entry.
Are you interested in camping under the stars for a celebration of great music? Well then, all you've got to do is bring along your tent - and don't forget your camping gear! Come and have some fun for the weekend - one of the last before summer wraps up for the year.
PLEASE NOTE that the festival campground is UNSERVICED, so come prepared!!
CAMPGROUND (tents only) is located on the festival grounds - enter through GATE C
***All tent camping spots are first come first served, so arrive early on Friday and pitch your tent to guarantee yourself a spot - quite a few camping spots are spread out in various areas on the grounds, but of course only a limited number exist.
For campers wishing to bring along a trailer or RV for the festival, we'd recommend staying at one of two local serviced campgrounds (see below):
1) Morrison’s Sports Park located at the corner of Highways 13 and 331 near Oakville, with several spots available. 10 minutes east of the Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival grounds. Site amenities include potable water at main building, and campfire pits on site. Only $20/night for electricity; $12/night unserviced. To book, please call Don Staples at 204-871-3227.
2) Island Park / PortageX Campground, located on Island Park in the heart of Portage la Prairie. 10 minutes from the festival site. Site amenities include 15/30-amp power outlets, water hook-up, and a dumping station behind Stride Place. $30/night full service; $20/night unserviced. Dozens of spots are currently available. To book, please call 204-857-3231. Ask to be put in WHOOP & HOLLAR RESERVED AREA, to camp with other festival goers.
Bring your friends and join the festival campground community for an awesome TWO NIGHTS of acoustic jamming, partying, or, you know...sleeping...that's always great too! The festival tent campground has access to an outhouse and drinking water.
